All seniors at Bishop Union HS will participate in a three days of hearings. 

We will have 12-14 teams competing.  Both competitions include Region 10 Congressional Districts 49-50-51-52-53.

A one-day teacher mini-institute on WTP concepts and a non competitive hearing for MIddle and High school levels. Primary target are teachers from CA19, CA20 North, CA21. Scholar for the mini-institute is David Richmond. Grant will pay for the teacher substitute teachers for participants.

Two-day professional development workshop for educators in classroom or after school settings on implementing Project Citizen.

More than 350 students in 12 high school classes from throughout California will compete in simulated congressional hearings to earn the opportunity to represent California at the National Finals in Washington D.C. in May. Government, business, education and community leaders will serve as volunteer judges, timers and facilitators.
